Restoration
Restoration services
Some rugs need more than cleaning. Our specialists assess and recommend suitable repair for water or pet damage, moth infestation, frayed edges, missing fringes, holes, tears and worn pile. As every handmade rug is unique, we share a detailed assessment after inspection.
Logistics
Shipping & logistics
You can ship your rug to us yourself, or request a pickup from HummingHaus. Shipping costs are borne by the customer.
If packaging material is required, we send it at a paid price of ₹200 to ₹500, depending on size.
For a professional wash, the dispatch courier charge is on us for rugs purchased within the last two years.
For repair and restoration, we ship the rug back free if you proceed with the repair; otherwise return shipping is borne by the customer.

Care & expectations
We recommend a deep clean every 12 to 18 months for hand-tufted rugs, and every 4 to 5 years for hand-knotted rugs. Final results depend on age, prior damage, staining history, sun exposure and fibre condition. Our goal is always the best possible outcome while preserving the character of your rug.
