1. Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 3 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement at no additional cost.

To raise a claim:

Please act quickly — you have 3 days from delivery to report the issue. The sooner we receive your request, the smoother the replacement process.

2. How to Return

  1. Email us at support@humminghaus.com with photos of the damage within 3 days of delivery
  2. We will confirm your return request within 24–48 hours
  3. If reverse pickup is available at your pin code, we will schedule a collection at no cost to you
  4. If reverse pickup is not available at your pin code, you will need to self-ship the item back to us in its original condition. We recommend using a trackable courier service — HummingHaus will not be responsible for items lost or damaged during self-shipment
  5. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, your replacement will be processed within 7–10 business days

3. Conditions for Return

To be eligible for a replacement, the item must be:

  • Reported within 3 days of delivery with clear photographic evidence
  • Returned in its original condition — rolled and packed as received
  • Accompanied by your original proof of purchase

4. Non-Refundable & Non-Returnable Circumstances

We are unable to accept returns or process refunds under the following circumstances:

  • Damage caused by misuse or mishandling of the product after delivery
  • Accidental damage after delivery
  • Any part, accessory or component of the rug is missing
  • Items purchased during a sale, offer or promotional event
  • Custom or made-to-order rugs unless they arrive damaged or defective
  • Rug coating charges — if you opted for a protective coating on your rug at the time of order, the coating amount is non-refundable under any circumstances, regardless of the reason for return

5. Cancellations

Orders placed during a sale or promotional offer are not eligible for cancellation or refund.

For all other orders, cancellation requests must be made before the rug enters production. Once weaving has commenced, we are unable to cancel the order as the rug is being made specifically for you.

6. Custom & Made-to-Order Rugs

As all HummingHaus rugs are handmade to order, we are unable to accept returns or cancellations on custom orders unless the item arrives damaged or defective. Please review your order details carefully before confirming.

7. Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

Please note — original shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable.
