Questions, answered

No. A single custom rug is as welcome as a hundred. Every HummingHaus rug is made to order anyway, so a one-off is simply how we work.

Yes. Send us the photograph and we will dye to match as closely as natural fibre allows. Wool takes colour beautifully, though a hand-dyed yarn will always carry small variations. That is the nature of the material, not a flaw.

Always. You approve a CAD mock-up showing your design at your size in your colours before the loom is set. For larger projects we can also weave a sample swatch.

Hand-tufted wool takes about four weeks. Tencel silk about eight. Hand-knotted wool and silk takes ten to twelve, because each knot is tied by hand. The wait is the craft.

Any. Rectangles, runners, rounds, and shaped pieces cut to a silhouette you draw. Share your dimensions and we will craft it to fit.
